OAK Frost was created to give female-matching high school athletes in the Greater Bay Area more opportunities to play competitive ultimate during winter. In 2024 OAK Gx players formed a combo team with Seattle-based players at Emerald City Challenge in March 2025. In 2025, we were thrilled to debut OAK Frost, our Gx team for the full Winter 2025 season, spanning January through early March 2026.

The program emphasizes smaller rosters for more playing time, leadership development, and emotional growth, while ensuring diverse representation from schools across the region. Aligning with OAK’s core values, it builds future leaders, captains, and coaches to strengthen Bay Area ultimate. Winter tryouts take place after the high school fall season concludes.
