Greetings from OAK Ultimate!

As we begin preparing for this summer and YCC, and in serving our mission to continue growing opportunities for youth players, OAK Ultimate has partnered with the Santa Barbara Ultimate community (led by the UCSB Black Tide Alumni Association) to host a new tournament targeted at youth teams - both those who want to attend a tournament and those preparing for YCC.  Taking place on June 27th and 28th, we are thrilled to announce the Santa Barbara Coastal Clash!

  • U15 (Boys/Open)U17 (Boys/Open and Girls/wmp)

  • U20 (Boys/Open and Girls/wmp)

  • Note: Mixed teams are very welcome to attend the tournament but we will not be hosting a mixed-only division)

Registration Fees$850/team (covers all players)

  • *Early Bird $100 refund will be paid to all teams registered on/before EOD Friday, May 15th.

Team Bids

Tournament Information:

  • High-quality grass fields, with close access to parking, restrooms, water stations, and snacks at tournament central.

  • Tournament central with full support for all teams, snack, etc.

  • A Medical trainer on site for the whole event.

  • A host of local volunteers to make this a great event.

Lodging:

Teams and players are free to stay wherever they choose but we’ve also organized a housing option (for athletes, coaches and parents if interested) that is a 3 minute walk to the fields, so no rental cars or vans will be needed as the SB airport is also only a 10 minute ($1.50) bus ride to the housing or a short Uber/Lyft. The housing is provided by the largest private off-campus student housing provider in Isla Vista - Tropicana Del Norte and Tropicana Gardens

  • Offering 3 bedroom/2 bathroom suites that can each hold up to 8 athletes/coaches/parents (individual beds)

  • $96/night per person and that cost includes 

    • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    • laundry facilities 

    • WiFi 

    • Pool

Note: Linens can be provided ($40) - pillow, pillowcase, sheets, comforter, towel and personal bathmat else people can bring their own or sleeping bags.
